Welcome to the Europe, Middle-East & Africa (EMEA) section of the Value Chain Group (VCG) Web-Site.
Late in April 05 the VCG board made the decision to structure Operations around 3 Global Chapters, of which EMEA is one.
The purpose of the EMEA web-site section is to give existing and potential members information about Chapter Specific issues in support of enhancing membership developments and satisfaction.
Chapter Developments
Collaboration is the key word for Chapter developments, and resources are currently being deployed to establish relationships with "partners" from Academia, Software Vendors and Consultant Companies.
As the Chapter develops it will be divided into regions with local management in each to address the Cultural and Language differences between countries. However, the Value Reference Model itself is not likely to be translated from English to country specific languages, as communication across borders will require a translation back to English anyhow. We will, however, do our best to meet the needs for having Presentation and Training Material available in country specific languages and will strive to have translation developed in the Glossary of the model.
